Una forma de extrañarte / A way to miss you

Una forma de extrañarte / A way to miss you

I long to explore that map without haste,
each curve, a verse, that my mouth retain.
Time breaks into gasps of foam,
and the world loses interest, behind our bed.

There is no night long enough for such devotion,
nor thirst that can be quenched if love drinks us in.
We are two fires fused in lava,
a single heartbeat repeating its feat.

I would like the eternal return of the kiss,
to live in the cycle of your skin, of your breath.
May the sun find us woven in flight,
satiated with dawn, drunk with sky.

¡Mis ojos, no creen lo que ven!
Te desconozco, te he perdido.

Mis palabras no llegan, menos mis miradas

mi vida no volvió a tener sentido,
ahora vago en el olvido
de una realidad, excluido.

Desapareciste y ¿Qué hago?
Esperar desesperado a la parca
que en sus brazos me haga olvidar
lo vivo que me hiciste sentir
los años de felicidad, que deseo borrar.

My eyes, they don't believe what they see!
I don't recognize you, I've lost you.

They don't exist anymore!
Those tender eyes that looked at me with love.
That woman, with whom I fell in love, vanished.
And only ashes of a cruel love remain.

My words don't reach, much less my looks
and what to say about my kisses and hugs
it's an empty port every morning.

I only carry this agony
this cruel punishment of the divine
a life without purpose
a meaningless existence
a repressed anger

Nothing remains, of this failed love
Only traumas of this agonizing destiny

And to think that we have years left, being dead in life.
This monotony that leads to nothing.
This empty life that ties us to a hypocritical calm.

Shelter of anguish, empty existences
Words without a message, a life without a purpose
Eyes that don't see, caresses that don't feel
The cruelty of our lives, little by little fades away.

A dead man in life disappears!
When you left,
My life no longer had meaning,
Now I wander in the oblivion
of a reality excluded.

You disappeared and what do I do?
Desperately wait for the grim reaper
Who in his arms makes me forget
How alive you made me feel
The years of happiness, which I wish to erase.

A wish kept in the heart,
an untold story, a song.
If a beautiful girl, my daughter, had been born,
other colors, other lives, she would have lived.

It is not sadness that dwells in my chest,
It is the longing for a life in another dawn.
Dreaming about buying dresses and lace,
See that no one, with you, exceeds themselves.

You would have been a flower in spring,
dancer of dreams, princess of chimeras.
I miss the laughter, the tears and the hugs,
the warmth of my arms and your tender laps.

If you had been born under the mantle of the moon,
The melody that my life sings would be different.
You would be a soft waltz, you would be a poem,
a dance that the wind, under the same stars creates.

But here I am, with my burning desire,
knowing that it no longer depends on me.
But every dream that blooms in my chest,
It makes me tougher, braver, stronger.

If you had been born my daughter, what a life,
a guarded desire, an infinite longing,
one glass of rum less, for each day.

I am who I am, and that is enough,
I am who I am, and that's what it feels like
my heart that beats, that lives, that dreams,
that, although he longs for you, he insists on himself.

So here I am, with my desire and my being,
with my story to tell, with my life to weave.
Because even if you don't exist, in my heart,
The seed of a girl always found her corner.

En ese campo de Margaritas. / In that field of Daisies.

En ese campo de Margaritas. / In that field of Daisies.

What is this that I am observing? I find myself seeing with difficulty a bright and warm sun over this green wasteland, surrounded by hills and an infinite sky, without knowing what is reality and what is fiction. The sensitivity of my hands can feel the grass and my love for nature allows me to appreciate every detail of this new world that surrounds me.

I only remember that one summer night, I went to sleep with my heart full of desire and nostalgia. Closing my eyes, my mind began to feel like I was drifting into a deep sleep. In that moment, I appeared in this field, where the sunlight seems to bathe each flower with a golden glow, the wind caresses the flowers and a melodious and soft harmony is created.

In the middle of that green sea, I saw my beloved. She walked slowly, letting her fingers brush the delicate flowers as she moved forward. She was wearing a white dress that fluttered in the wind, and her hair cascaded down her shoulders, reflecting the sun’s sparkles.

With my heart racing, I started running towards her. As she approached me, I could see the smile on her beautiful face and the joy in her beautiful eyes. The love I felt for her illuminated every corner of her being, making me feel like I was floating on a cloud of happiness.

When we were finally face to face, I took her hands and, together, we walked through this field full of flowers. Time seemed to have stopped, and all that mattered in that moment was us and the love we shared.

With every step she took, the daisies bowed to pay tribute to her beauty. The field reflected the purity of her feelings, and each flower seemed to whisper words of hope and promises of love to an uncertain future.

Unfortunately, the road came to an end and I woke up in my cold bed, crying nostalgically, with the memory of that daisy field still fresh in my mind. It had just been a torturous dream, which I couldn’t help. How I wish I could experience that magical moment again, even if it were on another plane, the plane of dreams. And so, kiss your lips and fill my sense of hope in my heart.

I got out of bed and started a new day of hard work, carrying with me the memory of having seen you in my dream and the promise of looking for you and loving you again.
