H: Why are you crying?
M: I don’t understand it myself. It’s something I can’t control.
H: But, you never gave your heart. You never let anyone get close enough to love you.
M: That’s what you think. But just because I didn’t give my heart to someone, doesn’t mean I can’t feel pain.
H: But how can you feel pain for something you never gave?
M: Because, it is possible to feel pain for what you never had, for lost opportunities and unrequited loves.
H: So you’re crying for something that doesn’t exist?
M: Yes. For the love that I never had the opportunity to give, for the heart that I never gave. And that hurts as much as a broken heart.
H: But, you still have the chance to do it. It’s not too late.
M: It’s not that simple. It’s not just about delivering. It’s about finding someone who’s worth it.
H: But how can you know who’s worth it if you never try?
M: That’s the hardest thing. Knowing when and to whom to open your heart is one of the most difficult decisions you will have to make in life.
H: So, what are you going to do now?
M: I don’t know. But what I do know is that I don’t want to continue crying for what I never had. I want to cry with happiness for what I have, and that’s what I’m going to try to do.
