Salvaje / Savage

Salvaje / Savage
Fue dama de seda y promesa,
de juncos dulces al andar;
mas la sortija fue su presa
y el pacto, su primer despertar.

Su lengua es daga sin vaina,
su voz, jauría al despertar;
siembra veneno en la copa
que yo, por costumbre, he de alzar.

Cada palabra es un zarzal
que en mi pecho echa raíz;
y aún así, busco su faz
porque su sombra es mi país.

She was a lady of silk and vow,
of reeds that swayed with gentle grace;
but the ring became her claw,
and the vow, her first embrace of chase.

Her tongue is a dagger without sheath,
her voice, a pack that bays at dawn;
she pours her venom in the cup
I raise each night and drink upon.

Each word she speaks is briar and thorn
that roots itself deep in my chest;
and still I search for her cruel face—
because her shadow is my rest.

Si las palabras fueran puentes / If words were bridges

Si las palabras fueran puentes / If words were bridges
Si las palabras fueran puentes,
te construiría uno de luz,
con barandas de canciones
y tablones de azul.

Te enseñaría a nombrar el mundo
como quien descifra un cristal:
"La luna es un panal de sueños,
el viento, un violín celestial."

Pero tu silencio también habla
en clave morse, de abrazos y piel,
y aunque no digas "te quiero, Papá",
lo grita tu mirada de miel.

Tal vez Dios no quiso préstamos
las frases que todos repiten,
para guardarte un lenguaje
que solo el alma codifique.

If words were bridges,
I'd build you one of light,
with railings of songs
and planks of blue sky.

I'd teach you to name the world
like someone deciphering a crystal:
"The moon is a honeycomb of dreams,
the wind, a celestial violin."

But your silence also speaks
in Morse code, of hugs and skin,
and even if you don't say "I love you, Dad,"
your honey-colored gaze screams it.

Maybe God didn't want to lend
the phrases everyone repeats,
to keep for you a language
that only the soul can codify.

Vampiresa / Vampire

Vampiresa / Vampire
En la sombra de su andar,
ella acecha a lo lejos,
pidiendo más de lo que da,
drenándome muy lento.

Sus palabras, un hilo gris,
tejen nubes de desdén,
cada encuentro es un vaivén
que ahoga el libre matiz.

Las historias que relata,
con un aire de pesares,
roban sueños y lugares,
oxidando el alma.

Así camina, sin saber,
que sus palabras son veneno,
que convierte el dulce en hiel,
desdichando la esperanza.

Pero el sol vuelve a asomarse,
tras la niebla del pesar;
en mi pecho volverá
la alegría a recobrarme.

Dejo atrás su huella fría,
bajo un cielo de colores,
aunque duelan sus colmillos,
trabajaré por mis amores.

In the shadow of her walk,
she lurks in the distance,
asking for more than she gives,
draining me very slowly.

Her words, a gray thread,
weave clouds of disdain,
each encounter is a back and forth
that suffocates the free nuance.

The stories she tells,
with an air of sorrow,
steal dreams and places,
rusting the soul.

So she walks, without knowing,
that her words are poison,
that turn sweet into bile,
making hope miserable.

But the sun peeks out again,
behind the fog of sorrow;
in my chest joy will return
to recover me.

I leave her cold footprint behind,
under a sky of colors,
even if her fangs hurt,
I will work for my loves.

Amor propio / Self-love

Amor propio / Self-love

“eres suficiente, quiérete a ti mismo.”

Cubre tu piel con amor sincero,
pinta tu vida con un color entero,
reconstruye el ser que en ti habita,
y celebra su esencia infinita.

El amor propio es un canto profundo,
una melodía que abraza el mundo,
si siembras en ti esta luz brillante,
sentirás el abrazo, de un amor constante.

In the mirror shines the truth,
a reflection that only you can love,
two eyes that look with sweetness,
discovering in their image, beauty.

Every imperfection is a story,
every scar keeps its memory,
in the garden of being, the love that is established in the soul blooms.

Strip yourself of other people's judgments,
break the status quo, embrace your dreams,
the inner voice whispers in your ear,
"you are enough, love yourself."

Cover your skin with sincere love,
paint your life with a whole color,
rebuild the being that lives in you,
and celebrate its infinite essence.

Self-love is a deep song,
a melody that embraces the world,
if you plant this bright light in yourself,
you will feel the embrace of a constant love.

Bendito Alcohol / Blessed Alcohol

Bendito Alcohol / Blessed Alcohol

In my glass, golden water shines,
the sun of the night, the vitamin of the soul.
Sincere words that are born in flight,
unleash laughter, lighten grief.
On the table, two glasses bring hearts closer,
with each sip, they quench tensions.
Seductive foam, faithful companion,
you whisper advice, made of honey.

I toast to you, on this warm night,
because I see my worries vanish.
The burning that passes through my throat,
tears the sad secrets of my soul.

My mind is out of balance, losing its charm,
because I have drunk too much, to forget my pain.
Rather, the shared toast brings me company.
Cheers! those who at my side, support my empathy.

So let us celebrate, with sincere joy,
the fleeting moment, forgetting our history.
Where the spirit is ready, but the fermentation of these grapes,
like a shameless thief, robs my stress,
bringing peace, calming my head.
