Psicosis / Psychosis

Te veo a mi lado, tan cerca y tan lejos,

In the dark corner of my mind,
a ghost stirs, a reluctant echo,
the shadow of a fear, implacable and cold,
that challenges love, like a cruel destiny.

I see you by my side, so close and so far,
your eyes look at me, but I feel mirrors,
They reflect a world that is not mine,
a deep abyss, a shadowy void.

Fear hangs like a heavy cloak,
I fear that one day, you will have forgotten me,
or that you think of me, in your own storm,
As reason breaks, madness increases.

Where are you, my love, when I can't find you?
In the labyrinths woven by your brain,
I look for you and lose you, in an endless game,
madness lurks, with its evil dance.

If I lose you in the fog and you leave without return,
my heart breaks, in an eternal disorder,
There is no comfort in the night, nor in the clearest day,
only the constant fear, the bitterest pain.

Love, if you walk away, if reason breaks,
I will fight against the wind, against all darkness,
to find you again, even if faith is lost,
I will save our good memories from the feared madness.

El hombre en el escritorio. / The man at the desk.

Salí a caminar, corrí, volé.

I am the man at the desk, a code that does its job. My lethargic eyes blink increasingly slowly, while my pale face is struck by the intense light, burning my pupils, of this screen on which I write my reports. Day and night, without rest, small jobs. I have lost track of time, without knowing the day, without knowing the time. The mouse is just another extension of my hand, and my ears have been forced to become deaf so I don’t have to listen to my surroundings. I don’t want to be disturbed by anything that doesn’t have to do with this monotonous routine of sitting through this ordeal, seeing my face in meetings, reading about the problems that cause other problems in this company where people only come to me for their reasons. issues. Here I am, looking at an empty Excel table, trying to fill it, draining my dreams, losing my feelings, slow and quiet, tired and awake. Staring at nothing, but absorbed in the inconvenience that this routine causes me. I am just another number in this corporate program where I receive little for how much I do, and I do a lot for how little I receive. At what moment did I fall into this abyss from which I cannot get out? When was the last time I stopped here? I went for a walk, I ran, I flew. I laughed with my friends, if I had any. When did I forget that I am trapped in an algorithm, a pact with the devil, a tool where they drain your life and you receive money in return? Money that goes to pay expenses, money stolen by other companies. Martyr complex, hero belief. Who am I to feel different? Just another number in the eyes of a millionaire. One more cog in this machine called global entrepreneurship. What’s special about me? What do I do? I’m the man at the desk, watching people believe they’re something other than abused beings.

A mi mejor y único amigo. / To my best and only friend.

A mi mejor y único amigo. / To my best and only friend.

Querido Amigo,

Dear friend,

I hope this letter finds you in good shape and, as always, positive. I want to take this opportunity to remind you what a good person you are and how much value you bring to every aspect of your life.

In moments of doubt, remember that your worth does not depend on the approval of others, only your own. Don’t carry the entire burden of having to impress those who, honestly, don’t appreciate you or demonstrate, to those who don’t care, what you are capable of doing. You are a unique person, although I think you already know that, with your own skills and talents, and that is something that no one can take away from you.

I also want to remind you that you can only advise those who want to be advised. Sometimes, no matter how much we try to help others, they are not always ready or willing to listen. And it’s OK! It is not a reflection of your ability to give advice or help, but simply a reminder that everyone has their own path, their own plans and manages their own times.

Last but not least, I want you to know that you are an amazing father. I see the dedication, love and effort you put into your role and I am impressed. Remember that in a country where good parents are lacking, and in abundance, you are part of that minority, like me, that is trying to break paradigms. You have a heart full of love and you always do what is best for your child, and that is all that matters. Although it is not something that we are reminded of daily, among men we can tell each other that you are doing a great job and your firstborn is a reflection of your good heart.

Keep your head up high and move forward with the confidence of knowing that you are a person who is doing things right, remember that there are thousands of cases more complicated than yours, but we are all there, together, fighting the good fight, rowing against the current, trying to give our best effort.

Only the future and God will judge, in the distant future, if we manage to achieve our goals.

Wish you all the best,

The Shepherd.

El poeta melancólico. / The melancholic poet.

El poeta melancólico. / The melancholic poet.

In the dark corners of time,
where joys are an ephemeral wind,
life is found, a sad canvas,
a restless sea, a pending path.

Life, suffering, unfolds in a thousand forms,
in long nights, in huge storms,
in every farewell, in every goodbye,
in every wound, in every dishonor.

Tears are her secret language,
the echo of an illusion, which becomes obsolete,
a melody in the dark,
a whisper lost in the immensity.

Life is a dream, a theater of shadows,
a masked ball, a castle of jokes,
where laughter is the only currency,
and frustration, its eternal condemnation.

But, don't give up on the challenge,
although the cold burns in your chest,
Although life seems like a desert,
There is always a way, there is always a port.

Life is sad, yes, but it is also beautiful,
a rose that is born in arid land,
a star that shines in the frightful night,
a hope that is never extinguished,
the life of a poet that has not yet ended.

Familia / Home

Familia / Home

It's a circle of love without end,
A safe haven, a vital shelter.
It is a lighthouse that in the darkness,
always guides you.

A book of untold stories,
It is a tree that grows incessantly.
The roots are strong and deep,
And the branches, with laughter and dreams, abound.

It is a port in the storm,
a sun that sadness drives away.
It is a chorus of voices in harmony,
a canvas of colors in a symphony.

It is a hug that heals wounds,
with shared laughter, they are lives united.
It is the bond that, despite the distance,
Unite hearts with persevering constancy.

A mirror that reflects tenderness,
It is love that lasts, of the purest kind.
It is a poem written in the soul,
A melody, dissonant, that calms.

Gift of life,
sun that is not forgotten.
It is a treasure without measure,
Family is, simply, dear.
