My heart broke and I don't know if it can be fixed,
thousands of pieces fell to the floor,
like a puzzle I saw it fall apart,
with each word of yours, it was breaking.

My heart broke and I don't know if you can fix it,
you would have to take it piece by piece, start to glue it,
join each beautiful memory that we lived,
clean the dirty parts, that we darkened.

My heart broke and I don't know since when,
it may be that little by little you were breaking it,
I tried to be strong and put a protective layer on it,
but after so many years, it was worn down by your memories.

My heart was already weak when you met me,
physically it didn't live, without seeing a clinic monthly.
Now in the depths of our emotions, you hurt it.
Now it is dying, waiting for death to come.

I hope that one day it will beat again, to feel the reason why it was happy.
My heart is not encouraged, my motivation is fading away.
I hope I can finally find rest.

El hombre en el escritorio. / The man at the desk.

El hombre en el escritorio. / The man at the desk.

Salí a caminar, corrí, volé.

I am the man at the desk, a code that does its job. My lethargic eyes blink increasingly slowly, while my pale face is struck by the intense light, burning my pupils, of this screen on which I write my reports. Day and night, without rest, small jobs. I have lost track of time, without knowing the day, without knowing the time. The mouse is just another extension of my hand, and my ears have been forced to become deaf so I don’t have to listen to my surroundings. I don’t want to be disturbed by anything that doesn’t have to do with this monotonous routine of sitting through this ordeal, seeing my face in meetings, reading about the problems that cause other problems in this company where people only come to me for their reasons. issues. Here I am, looking at an empty Excel table, trying to fill it, draining my dreams, losing my feelings, slow and quiet, tired and awake. Staring at nothing, but absorbed in the inconvenience that this routine causes me. I am just another number in this corporate program where I receive little for how much I do, and I do a lot for how little I receive. At what moment did I fall into this abyss from which I cannot get out? When was the last time I stopped here? I went for a walk, I ran, I flew. I laughed with my friends, if I had any. When did I forget that I am trapped in an algorithm, a pact with the devil, a tool where they drain your life and you receive money in return? Money that goes to pay expenses, money stolen by other companies. Martyr complex, hero belief. Who am I to feel different? Just another number in the eyes of a millionaire. One more cog in this machine called global entrepreneurship. What’s special about me? What do I do? I’m the man at the desk, watching people believe they’re something other than abused beings.
